The Red Skirt society of the Pine Ridge Area held a gathering of Native Voices to share about how we handle the loss of a loved one.  The purpose of the event was to help the young women and girls of the Oglala Sioux Tribe Schools be able to see and develop leadership skills to be a positive influence for the young girls of the area.  The goal of the gala was to help the elders of the tribe share and inspire the young girls of the tribe to be strong for their generation.
