Hi! My name is Annette VanderMay. I am the 4th & 5th grade teacher at Long Valley School. I began my teaching career in 1983, where I taught for 3 years in Bennett County. I  then stayed home for a "number of years" to raise my 5 children. In 2001, I became the site director for the 21st CCLC After school program in Kadoka. After 14 years with the program, I moved down to Long Valley School and have taught here for the past eight years. I also had the opportunity to coach Kadoka's 5th and 6th boy's and girls's basketball for 10 years and Kadoka high school girl's basketball for 4 years. This past year, I coached the Long Valley Lion's 2nd -6th grade girls.

My husband Dan and I have been married 38 years and ranch in the Long Valley/Norris  area. We have five grown children and eight grandchildren. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.
