Hi, I’m Edna Kary.

I teach Kindergarten-1^st grade at Interior, SD. 

I graduated from the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana.  I received my Bachelors’ of Science degree, in Elementary Education.

I came to SD to fulfill one of my dreams – teaching in a rural one room school K-8.  I loved it!  I taught for seven years, then took a few years off to raise our three children and enjoy ranching. 

I have taught K-1^st for eleven years in Interior.  We have been making the After School Program available in Interior for several years.

I have gone to Kindergarten Academy for 10 years where we learn the latest techniques in engagement and making learning fun! I have enjoyed taking many summer classes. I LOVE to learn! I believe that, when children have fun learning, they develop a life-long love of learning.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children, traveling and reading.  I love to nurture plants, animals, and children and watch them grow!
