Hi! I am Jessica Magelky, the High School English Language Arts teacher.  I grew up in Flandreau, went to college at SDSU to receive my BA in English Education, and worked for SDSU Extension in 4-H, Youth Development, and Community Development before I began teaching at KAHS in 2012.  Through college, I was active in bringing concerts, events, and formals to campus, which is where I gained the experience to also serve as KAHS’s Prom Advisor.  I am also the NHS Adviser and ACT Coordinator.

I am married to my husband, Kipp, and we have two kids: Kaidean and Kallen.  In my spare time I like spending time with my family, reading, and camping.
