My name is Nichole Thompson. I am currently the middle school science teacher in Kadoka. I have been teaching for 18 years. I began my teaching career in Solon, ND, where I taught all subjects in 7^th grade. I then spent 4 years teaching in Newell, SD. In Newell, I taught 6^th and 7^th grade Reading/ELA, and 8^th grade Science. I was also the middle school girls’ basketball coach and assistant high school girls’ basketball coach. After teaching in Newell, I spent 2 years teaching 7^th and 8^th grade Reading in Martin. I was also the assistant high school girls’ basketball coach in Bennet County. I have now been in the Kadoka School District for 6 years. I have taught the middle school grades in Long Valley, been the middle school Title interventionist, and middle school social studies.

I am originally from Wagner, SD. I received my Bachelor of Education from Black Hills State University in 2004. I also received my Masters in Reading from Black Hills State University in 2009.

 I am married to my husband Travis. We have three boys: Kahler, Kyson, and Kullen. We live south of Kadoka where we ranch and farm with his brothers.
