I would like to share a little bit about myself.  My husband Cleve and I have a ranch in the Badlands of South Dakota.  We raise quarter horses, as well as bred heifers.  We enjoy spending time with friends when we are not busy on the ranch.  

I have taught in the Kadoka Area School District since 1994.  I completed my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from BHSU in the spring of 2012. I have taught a variety of grades and classes, but I am currently one of the Title One Teachers in our school district.  I focus much of my attention on the math classes, preparing our students for the Common Core State Standards.  These standards provide students with a deeper understanding of math.  Using various strategies, students are able to solve problems in a variety of ways.
