Meet the ASP Staff
My name is Nikki Bonenberger and I am the Kadoka Area 21st Century Learning Center Site Director.
A little about myself... My husband's name is Brett and we ranch north of Belvidere, SD. We have 3 children: Makaylan 13, McCoy 11, and McKey 5. I have been a registered nurse for 15 years. I love to camp and hang out with friends and family! I look forward to meeting you and working with your child.
My name is Jennifer Van Pelt. This is my 13th year teaching for the Kadoka Area School District. This is also my 9th year as a teacher for the 21st Century Learning Program. I attended Dakota Wesleyan University where I obtained degrees in K-12 Educational Technology and Elementary Education. In my free time, I enjoy reading, visiting with friends and family, quilting, and watching movies. I very much enjoy being a part of the 21st Century Learning Program!
My name is Laurie Prichard and I am one of the certified teachers who work for the 21st Century Learning Center. I live on a ranch southwest of Kadoka, where my husband and I raise bred heifers and quarter horses. I have been teaching in Kadoka since 1994. I received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2012 from Black Hills State University. In the summer I love to go camping with friends and family.
My name is Cassie De Goes. This is my 11th year teaching at Kadoka Area School District. This is my second year as a teacher for the 21st Century Learning Program. I attended Dakota Wesleyan University to obtain a degree in Elementary Education. I am married to my husband, Brian De Goes, for almost three years now. I enjoy reading, hiking, camping with my husband, and cross stitch.
My name is Candice Ireland. This is my 6th year at the Kadoka Area School. This is my 4th year as a teacher for the 21st Century Learning Program. I attended Dakota State University to obtain a degree in Exercise Science in 2013 and I just obtained my degree from Black Hills State University for Early Childhood Education/Special Education in 2018. In my free time, I enjoy being outside and hanging out with friends and family. In the summertime, Karl (my husband) and I like to run Rugged Maniacs.
My name is Miss Katie, I have been with the 21st Century Learning Program since December 2017. I have been with the Kadoka Area School District since that time as well, I am an Aide for MS Special Ed. I obtained a Diploma in Disability/Human Services from Western Dakota Technical Institute in 2005.
In my free time, enjoy time with my family (and our dog), playing outside, planting flowers, fishing, playing cards, and spending time at my parent’s ranch.
Hi! I am Jessica Magelky and I have been a teacher at the Kadoka Area High School for 8 years and have worked for the After School Program for 6 years. I teach high school English and am the Prom Advisor and National Honor Society Adviser. I live on a ranch with my husband Kipp, who owns a trucking business, and two kids, Kaidean and Kallen. We have two fish, a cat, and a hamster. In my spare time, I like reading, camping, and baking. I am so excited to see you at the program!
