    • Lunch today is chicken tacos.
    • Reminder: 2nd and 3rd hours will be switched today.
    • Student Council nominees will be giving their speeches at 10am this morning.
    • There is tutoring tomorrow. Sign up in Jamie’s office if you plan on attending.
    • Awards night will be Tuesday, May 11th at the Auditorium at 6pm. Boys Basketball, Wrestling, and Gymnastics families are asked to bring deserts and Girls Basketball and Cheerleading families are asked to bring salads.
    • HS Football meeting for those planning on going out next fall – Tuesday morning, May 11th at 7:30am in Coach Eisenbraun’s room.
    • High School Students – Mr. Eisenbraun will be doing a “Pre-Check-In” of your computers and accessories Monday morning, May 10th.  Make sure you have your computer, charger, stylus pen, and charging cord for the pen.  Students will be allowed home privileges during the final week of school this year.  ALL computers and accessories will be turned in on Wednesday afternoon May 12th.  If you are not going to be in school Wednesday, you need to turn in your computers and accessories before Wednesday.  If you have any questions or need to make other arrangements, please see Mr. Eisenbraun in the Help Desk.
    • The Concordia Lutheran Church will be holding a Baccalaureate Service on Sunday, May 9th at 10am. All High School, Middle School, and College graduates are welcome! For more information, please contact Karen Byrd or Kristie Stone.
    • The track team will be selling flower baskets in the school parking lot on May 14th from 3-5pm and May 15th from 9am-until gone.
    • The City of Kadoka has a few job openings for the summer. You must be at least 16 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.
    • - Seasonal Mowing & Trash Pickup: basic knowledge of mowing and weed eating is a must.
      - Seasonal Street Department: basic knowledge of mowing, weed eating, painting curbs, operation of small power tools, and general maintenance is required. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
      - Coaching positions: 2 coed little league coaches.

    • Good luck to the MS track team as they compete in Lyman today at 1pm. Dismiss students at 10:30am as the bus will leave at 10:45am.

New Gym - Sports Banner Project

  • New Gymnasium Sports Banner Project:  The Kadoka Area School is in the process of gathering information.  We have compiled a document with research from yearbooks, newspapers, awards, trophies, and plaques.   We are still determining exactly which banners we will have; final decisions will be made when all information is gathered.   We are currently asking for the public’s help.  If you have documentation of anything that may be missing from the list please contact our Activities Director at 605-837-2171 or by email at Mark.Reiman@k12.sd.us.

Free Meals for Students

  • **UPDATE** This has been extended and will run until the end of the 2020-2021 school year!

    As of October 6, 2020 the Kadoka Area School District has received notice that all students in the Kadoka, Midland, and Interior schools will receive free meals.  The media release below is a waiver that extends the Summer Food Service Program for September 1 thru Decemeber 31, 2020 (now until the end of the 20-21 school year).  If you have any questions please contact Polly Brown at the Kadoka Area School at 605-837-2171.  Thank you!
